We’re proud to announce the launch of tSortPost, our newest Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) for parcel sortation. After rigorous rounds of development and testing, we are excited to add this product to the tSort product family to offer our clients more options in accomplishing their dynamic and comprehensive requirements for parcel sortation.
As VP of Robotics Engineering, I am excited about what this launch means for the sortation industry. We are consistently evaluating the needs of the market, and we’ve identified that there is a gap in efficient and reliable AMRs for parcel sortation. tSortPost is the perfect solution, bringing numerous benefits including flexibility, accuracy and speed while using minimal infrastructure.
And I know our CEO, Mike Futch, is also incredibly excited, as you can see in his press release quote here: “tSortPost is poised to significantly impact the industry by providing an innovative and efficient solution to the complex challenges of parcel sortation. This launch adds to our extensive sortation abilities through our tSort product line which delivers an unparalleled solution set designed to empower businesses worldwide, driving operational excellence and productivity.”
As flexible and mobile as our current tSort offerings are, we wanted to provide a solution that utilizes even less infrastructure with an even quicker deployment for parcel sortation in last mile, regional hubs, and distribution and fulfillment centers. tSortPost has an adjustable post that allows for sortation into containers at a variety of heights while running on the floor of the facility. This means we can deploy a new sortation system in a facility with almost no infrastructure, relying only on fiducial markers, scanning stations, and destination bins around the perimeter.
One of the standout features of tSortPost is its customizable design, allowing warehouses to configure the robot to adapt to their specific operational needs. It offers:
The name tSortPost has a dual meaning, referring to its pedestal design and its suitability for postal sortation. Whether it’s sorting the parcels into bins, wire containers, gaylords, or bags, tSortPost handles it all seamlessly.
tSortPost is perfect for customers looking for a compact and efficient entry point into automated sortation. For larger installations, tSortPost can automate parcel processing more efficiently than traditional conveyor systems. For customers with smaller and lighter parcels, a very high number of sort destinations, and high volumes, we can offer our tSort solution with multiple levels of sortation. tSortPost and tSort give us optimal alternatives to handle any client’s parcel sorting needs.
We’re eager to see the impact tSortPost will have and how it will transform the sortation industry. Reach out to connect with a Tompkins representative to learn more.
Here’s to transforming warehouse operations one AMR at a time!
